Snowdonia Round

Conwy, Gwynedd

A youth hostel based route visiting the hostels at Idwal Cottage, Pen-y-Pass, Bryn Gwynant and Lledr Valley taking in Drum, Glyder Fawr, Snowdon and Dulwyddelan. Use of public transport between Conwy and Aber and Llanrwst/Trefriw back to Conwy is suggested in the publication.

The outline route shown here is the basic route from Abergwyngregyn (Aber) and Trefriw (near Llanrwst) which passes (or close to) the hostels - some of which are now not run by the YHA. This route is taken from the original route description published by the YHA which is now available as a download - see below.
