Social Walks

A quick reminder that Linda and Terry have a social  walk  tomorrow starting from Tillingham and visiting the lovely St Peter’s Chapel:  Essex & Herts LDWA - Walk along the sea wall

Sunday 4^th November: Hert to Hert 20 miles. 8.45am, Pegs Lane Car Park, Hertford SG13 8EQ, (£1.50 all day on Sunday, or there is free on-street parking on nearby Queen’s Road. Parking places here  may be limited though  as it’s a residential road). Leader:  Richard Rose Tel: 07980 340038 The route starts in Hertford, then we walk east along the river to Ware before heading north towards Hanbury Manor & Watton-at-Stone then heading back to Hertford via Bramfield. The walk is mainly on paths & tracks with no muddy fields! There is a wall we have to cross with fixed ladders in place either side. The lunch stop is after 12 miles at The Grandison, Bramfield SG14 2 QL. NB if you want a meal at the pub, please can you either pre-order or let Richard know on the day.  If the weather is fine, they have an outside area we can use.    OUR MENUS | thegrandison

Christmas Celebrations

Looking further ahead to December, we have two Christmas events – a walk  from Willingale with carol singing, mulled wine and Secret Santa, plus our now traditional  meal  at  The Rose and Crown in Great  Waltham. All the details are in the links below, and you will need to  let  the leaders of both walks know if you will be going.

Blackwater Marathon: What a wonderful day!
