Thundridge Hill Trod 20/08/2023

Nine  intrepid walkers  plus Nigel who led the walk today 20 August 2023. 18 miles in 3 x 6 mile sections on a warm and sunny day. Lunch at the 2.5 acre garden full of summer border flowers home of C. Melluish Esq Red kites. One adult buzzard and a Lancaster bomber at least 75 years old flew past at about 2000 ft on our right at approx 3pm. No escort Spitfires!

One never knows what will come into view!

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
