This walk starts from the car park at the Woodlands Trust, Stour Estuary Nature Reserve, Wrabness, CO12 5ND, OS Explorer Map 184 Grid Ref TM190310. The walk is approximately 19.5 miles in length and mainly rural. The walks goes south in a loop via Great Oakley, Wix and Bradfield to join the Essex Way and thence back along the Estuary. If you are very lucky, you might see the Osprey and there are good views across to the Shotley Peninsula. There is a small pub at Wix with some seating in the car park. Last updated October 2020Maps:
