Wat's Dyke is a 40-mile earthwork running throughthe northern Welsh Marches in pastoral countryside via Maesbury in Shropshire passing to the east of Oswestry to Basingwerk Abbey on the River Dee estuary. It runs generally parallel to Offa's Dyke, sometimes within a few yards but never more than three miles away. The route also includes Overton, Wrexham, Caergwrie, New Brighton and Rhosesmar.
