A Northumbria LDWA Anytime Challenge walk over rough, upland terrain in the Cheviot Hills encircling the Cheviot. 30 miles in length and involving 6,500ft of ascent. Good navigational skills are required. It links the Schil, Windy Gyle and Hedgehope. An alternative route from Wooler, adding 10 miles, is described. Map OS Landranger 75 is needed only if walking from Wooler.
