St Margaret's Way

Edinburgh, Fife

St Margaret's Way starts from the St Mary's Metropolitan Cathedral in the centre of Edinburgh and takes you on bike paths and quiet roads to the Forth Road Bridge. Then travel along spectacular scenic coastal tracks and former pilgrim trails through local communities, to the famous ancient town of St Andrews.

There are the separate pilgrimage detours available, St Margaret's Loop, to Dunfermline from North Queensferry, and St Margaret's Elbow, from Earlsferry via Fife Ness to St Andrews.
