A route across the heaths, woods and farmland of the western Weald over Older Hill and Woolbeding Common to Midhurst and Heyshott and then across the South Downs via The Trundle to Lavant and Chichester and finally to Chichester Harbour, with an optional visit around East Head. It crosses the rivers Rother and Lavant en route.
