Clwydian Way

Conwy, Denbighshire, Flintshire

From Prestatyn this circular route, first developed by North Wales Ramblers and created to celebrate the Millennium, takes the Clwydian Range south to Llangollen and then turns west along the Llantysilio Range to Corwen through some of North Wales' finest countryside. The return to the start is via Clocaenog Forest and Llyn Brenig after which the route up over the Mynydd Hiraethog and through Llansannan has spectacular views of the mountains of Snowdonia. The route skirts the town of Denbigh and passes through the cathedral city of St Asaph on the way back to Pretatyn.

The walk links with Offa's Dyke Path National Trail, the North Wales Path and the Hiraethog Trail amongst others. It is waymarked and on public rights of way.
