Horsham railway station- Train 7.59 from London Victoria, (8.06 Clapham Junction 8.15 East Croydon) arriving 8.46 at Horsham or 8.40 train from Dorking arriving 9.02 at Horsham
Car parking at Horsham station, free parking may be possible in nearby urban streets
Meet in station car park which is at the rear exit (not the main entrance/exit)
A circular, undulating route, moderate pace (Average 2.7mph) exploring St. Leonards Forest and the hamlets between Horsham and Crawley just over the Surrey border. Finish approx. 17:00
General Notes
Bring sufficient food and liquid refreshments. Picnic stops only. Woodland facilities. LDWA membership card has a space on it for adding emergency contact details, all members are encouraged to carry this during the walk. It would be helpful to contact the walk leader to confirm if you wish to come on this walk (LDWA membership number required please)
