Godalming Rail Station Postcode GU7 1EU. The start time of 0900 works with southbound trains from London & northbound from Portsmouth
A nearly 19-mile circular tour (and 1,900 feet ascent!) of three of the summits of the gently mountainous Godalming region, attempting to scale the heights of Hydons Ball, Hascombe Iron Age Hill Fort and Chinthurst Hill. It may be worth a Wink at an Arboretum on the way (NT toilets available) and refuelling will also be possible in Bramley, but bring lunches and refreshments
General Notes
A moderate pace, hilly terrain. Sunset 4pm, so bring headtorches just in case.
