12 or 20 ml all to finish by 1630. Start & Finish Merstham Village Hall, Station Road North, Merstham RH1 3ED GR TQ290533. Start 0915 -1030. Essential equipment: map (Explorer 146/Landranger 187), compass, pencil. Map reading skills essential. NO SUPPORT ON ROUTE, take sufficient food and drink. Late finishers will need torch. List of GRs will appear on event webpage in late December. Entries in advance preferred - see event webpage - £6 LDWA members, £11 non LDWA members, £5 under 16s. Entries on the day £11 for all (£5 for under 16s). Entry fee includes tea/coffee/biscuits & certificate at finish

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
