Further to my email in early August "Local Group updates", I am now sending you further details of LDWA policy on social walks as promised. The paper gives details of the review and the recommendations. An earlier version of the paper was shared with a small number of local groups (who had provided feedback to the proposals sent out earlier in the year). We will discuss the paper and the implications at the local group zoom meeting on 10th September. Following the meeting, we will produce a policy, revised guidelines for leading a social walk and work on the support and development package for walk leaders.
