Thanks to John for the walk on Saturday.  Eight walkers including Zara, Paul (from Swinton) Richard (a prospective member from Hazel Grove, who found us after doing the Bullock Smithy Hike) Ken (from West Yorks group) David Wright, Duncan, Steve and John.  Not all made it to the end, and we didn't take the wet option of legging it through the tunnel.  For anyone that is interested the journey through Standedge Tunnel costs £15 and takes about 1.5 hours.  There were plenty of other walkers and cyclists out along the canal.  Thank you John for the walk.
