Meet at 08.30 entrance to Swithen Hill Wood off A57 Manchester Road. Rixton near Warrington (Public transport from Manchester, Liverpool & Chester via Irlam or Warrington); GR SJ 673894 maps EXP 275/276. Incorporating the Mersey Way LDP and Liverpool Waterfront. Continuing downriver, the Ees becomes the Eyes, we will pass Fiddlers Ferry, Pickering Pasture & Otterspool. To finish at Pier Head Liverpool by 20.00hrs (Trains/buses nearby)

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
