This is a brand new challenge event organised by the South Manchester LDWA. Two attractive but challenging routes through the western Peak District including Axe Edge, Errwood and Fernilee Reservoirs, plus Shining Tor, Lamaload Reservoir and Taxal Moor on the long course. The route is mostly on FPs and tracks and includes some moorland sections with a total ascent of 4,000ft on the long course

Entry information on South Manchester LDWA website. Entry by SEF to Tony Ford, The Stables, Cumberland Court, Cumberland Street, Macclesfield, SK10 1DD (email tony1205@live.co.uk). Closing date 27th Sep. Entrants must carry/wear full waterproof, compass, map and a mug. Dogs allowed on short lead. Entries limited to 200. Free parking available off Bishops Lane SK043731.

Entry: LDWA & Scouts/Guides £9.50, others £12 (No entry OTD) incl full route description using easy to follow Wainwright-type maps, refreshments at CPs (one indoor CP) and hot meal at finish. Cert will be presented to all finishers
