2.5 hour easy and interesting walk back; to include local history & the merging of the Goyt and Tame to become the River Mersey

A 14 mile easy linear route from Woodford to North Reddish, developed in honour of Stockport's most famous tennis son. To be covered over three evening walks and including tracks/river valleys and urban trails. Information for legs 2 & 3 to be posted following each preceding leg
