Supplier's Information 2009

I have always had a passion for, and worked in, the countryside and made a point of promoting my interest to people of all age groups, to help them understand the ways of the countryside better. I have worked hard to promote the environment both professionally and as a hobby, and one of the best ways to do this is to actually get out there and explore at a pace that give you the ability to take in your surroundings. No better way to do this than walking based activities. There are also many benefits to walking regardless of age, health and ability. We cater for both individual needs and group activities.
I have personally been walking long distances for many years. I think nothing of walking for 12 - 14 miles in a day and again the next day, and this activity is how the idea, and the name, of Walkalongwy started to develop.
The aim of Walkalongway is to encourage and plan Walking Trips and Team Building breaks throughout West Wales. We walk throughout Wales using existing long distance walks/paths, planning themed walks and catering for individual requests.
The growth of health initiatives which encourage all ages to experience walking for the improvement of their health is all the headlines these days, so we are giving you the opportunity to become part of this.
Walkalongway now offers a luggage transfer service throughout West Wales, please see the website for more information.
