Wolverhampton Ring

W Midlands

A 29-mile route around Wolverhampton taking in towpaths, tracks, footpaths and old railways is just the ticket to help more residents discover the city's hidden gems. Inspired by similar ring routes like the Capital Ring in London, it links to the City of Wolverhampton by public transport.

Initially opened in 2015. Unfortunately over the years this LDP lost it's supporting information and it's website was archived - although still linked to below. However, one of our members has recently walked and plotted this LDP afresh. It is therefore now based on the GPX file we hold which was walked in April 2026.
