Orange fern frond on blue background with path nameUlster Way - Belcoo to Belleek Quality Section

Fermanagh

45 km / 28 miles
This Quality Section begins in Belcoo, a quiet village straddling the low-lying ground between Lough Macnean Upper and Lough Macnean Lower. From the Lough Macnean Valley there is a gradual ascent onto the Ballintempo uplands. Forests, beautiful mountain loughs and the evocative ruins of abandoned farm dwellings are encountered along the way.

At Lough Navar Forest there is a choice of either taking the main route directly to Belleek or making an additional 12-mile loop through the forest with its many lakes, interesting geological features and the famed viewpoint over Lower Lough Erne from the Cliffs of Magho.

See Connected Paths section below for details of the additional loop: 'Ulster Way - Belcoo to Belleek Lough Navar Forest Option Quality Section'.

Use Link Section: Belleek to Lough Braden to reach Quality Section: Lough Bradan to Gortin.
