Three Crags Walk

N Yorkshire, W Yorkshire

25 km / 16 miles
A linear route passing the crags of Almscliffe, Caley and Cow & Calf. The route is varied across the Wharfedale Valley and along the ridge between Caley Crags and Ilkley afording good views of the lower Wharfedale Valley. Red Kites are now a regular sight between Arncliffe and Poole in Wharfedale. Each end is accessible by train, Weeton Station on the Leeds-Harrogate line for Almscliffe Crag and Ilkley Station on the Wharfedale line for the Cow and Calf at Ilkley or by bus from Otley to either end of the walk.
