Thames Path North Bank Teddington to Greenwich

An alternative route for the Thames Path National Trail in London, following the North Bank of the Thames between Teddington Lock and Greenwich Foot Tunnel, linking with the South Bank route at its ends. (The North Bank route continues beyond Greenwich but currently ends at Blackwall: see Thames Path North Bank Greenwich to Blackwall)

EARLY 2023:
New Duke’s Meadows Footbridge takes the Thames Path North Bank directly under Barnes Bridge without need for a diversion.
The new bridge across Chelsea Creek at Chelsea Waterfront development provides a continuous route between Wandsworth Bridge and Chelsea.

MARCH 2023: re-opened City of London section
On 22nd March 2023 a 150m section of the Thames Path North Bank was re-opened, removing a diversion that has been in place since 2003. The newly refurbished section runs underneath a former warehouse near the Millennium Bridge. It completes an uninterrupted riverside route between Temple Gardens and Tower Bridge.
