Teesdale Challenge Walk - Cronkley Scar


31 km / 19 miles
An anytime challenge walk from Middleton-in-Teesdale following the Pennine Way past Low Force and High Force then joining an old drove road over Cronkley Fell to return to the river Tees. The Tees is followed downstream to again meet the drove road which is followed to Holwick where the Pennine Way leads back to Middleton-in-Teesdale.

The walk is one of four in the 'Gold' Challenge series promoted by the Upper Teesdale Tourism Network. A detailed route description is provided on the website below. After completing two walks a certificate can be claimed.
