Grand Union Canal Walk: Paddington Arm

Gtr London

21 km / 13 miles
The Paddington Arm leaves the main canal at Bull's Bridge. The Hillingdon Trail shares the towpath for the first couple of miles and the Capital Ring crosses the canal at several places.

The central section of the route passes through a long stretch of open countryside. A large aqueduct takes the canal over the busy North Circular road. The huge Kensal Green cemetery, resting place of Isambard Kingdom Brunel, is passed along the way and it is still possible to see the landing piers where coffins were delivered.

The Paddington Arm walk ends at Little Venice and the junction with the Regent's Canal.
