Glamorgan Ridgeway Walk

Bridgend, Cardiff, Glamorgan, Neath Port Talbot, Rhondda Cynon Taff

53 km / 33 miles
The Glamorgan Ridgeway Walk is a scenic long distance path in South Wales. It follows public footpaths, bridleways, forest tracks and quiet lanes along the ridge line from Margam Country Park, near Port Talbot, through spectacular upland and valley scenery to Caerphilly Castle. The 33 mile route (53km) along the southern edge of the South Wales Coalfield offers panoramic views of the rugged narrow valleys and the Brecon Beacons to the north, and across the Vale to the Bristol Channel to the south, with Devon and Somerset beyond. The route is waymarked throughout.
This is in part coincident with the former Ogwr Ridgeway Walk.
