Crossborder Trail

Northumberland, Borders

The Crossborder Trail is one of the routes that make up the Reiver Trails. These have been developed to connect Hadrian’s Wall World Heritage Site with Kielder Water & Forest Park and surrounding communities. This trail can be started from either Kielder Castle or at Newcastleton village which has an array of services including good places to eat and stay. The less challenging way to navigate the trail is anti clockwise. The user should expect remote sections with limited phone reception,
