Crossed swords and wheel within a leafCrewe and Nantwich Circular Walk


45 km / 28 miles
A route around Crewe and Nantwich through Weston and Acton which is split into three sections with bus links. Old villages, historical buildings and old battle sites are visited in using ancient paths, a canal towpath and field paths. It is coincident with the Middlewich Branch canal south of Church Minshull.

MARCH 2023:
A short part of the route of the Crewe and Nantwich Circular Walk near Hough and Chorlton in Cheshire is closed for gas pipeline diversion work until October 2023. (The closed Right of Way is one of three which are affected, but the only one which is on a named LDP.) Diversions via minor roads and footpaths may make use of Chorlton Lane and Chorlton.
