Hello; I recently walked the Ravenber Way: Ravenglass to Berwick. I basically stayed true to the published way, but strayed a few times when I could not find accommodations on his route and accepted a ride from Hethpool House to Etal. It took me 14 days, including an extra overnight in Hexham. The countryside was beautiful and exciting, the weather added some extra excitement as well. Suffice to say the route is somewhat dated, in that a few paths no longer exist: either gone, overgrown or fenced off; and there is a probably more barb wire currently. I'm not sure how much interest there is for this, thus I kept my comment brief.

Thanks for the suggestion Jill. I will definitely have a look at it.

I have done Wainwright's Coast to Coast and the Pennine Way. I am struggling to find a walk that matches those two. I am thinking of walking the Ravenber Way next year. Has anyone done it and would you recommend it? thanks.
