The routes are on footpaths, moorland & forest on the hills around Lake Bala & Aran Ridge (ascent 4,000 feet) in Snowdonia. There is a family walk of 8 miles (ascent 1,700') with return by steam railway (charges apply) or transport provided (free) as well as the more rigorous 14 (ascent 2500') & 20 mile courses
