A walk around Arnside Knott and Eaves Wood, stopping in the group shelter in Gait Barrow for elevenses (4.5 miles). Continue around Gait Barrow, through to the Fairy Steps and down to the Heron Corn Mill in Beetham. Then through Dallam Tower deer park to the café (9.3 miles). After tea/coffee and mince pies it’s 3.7 miles of flat walking along the estuary back to the cars
