22 or 10ml. 10 hours

8am & no later than 9am for 22 mile walkers. 9am and no later than 10am, runners and 10 mile walk

Holdgate Church, Nr Much Wenlock, Shropshire TF13 6LW. Nearby parking will be well signed. Open 7.30am for hot drinks (bring a mug)

22 route. From Holdgate via tracks/fields to summit of Abdon Burf, traverse hill/valley to Clee St Margaret (CP 1), on to Munslow Park, up/over Wenlock Edge to Eaton (CP 2), back on to Wenlock Edge, Wilderhope & return to Holdgate.
10 route. From Holdgate to Abdon Burf summit, across to Clee St Margaret (CP) to Tugford then across fields/lanes returning to Holdgate

This is a Marches LDWA Challenge walk. All proceeds will go to Holdgate & Eaton church communities who have assisted us on previous events. Hot drinks available at start, full refreshments at CP’s ie cakes (of course) sandwiches & drinks. At finish hot dogs are served. Sorry, no dogs, livestock country. ENTRIES. Open Friday 1st January 2027. Close Friday 10th April 2027. Limit 160 entries, waiting list thereafter. Under18’s to be accompanied by parent/guardian. Map, OS Explorer 217, Longmynd and Wenlock Edge. Participants to have suitable clothing for changeable weather conditions. Both walkers & runners welcome. BRING A MUG.
