A figure of eight covering 25 miles in each county, on good paths, bridleways, & green lanes, from the beautiful village of Manuden, three miles inside the Essex border. Heading west into rural Herts, the first loop takes in Patmore Heath then the Rib & Ash Valleys back to Manuden. The Essex loop heads north towards Clavering & returns via the quaint villages of Arkesden, Wicken Bonhunt & Quendon. Six well placed Checkpoints offering drinks, sandwiches, & snacks, with lunch & early breakfast at Manuden
