Location: Wendover Memorial Hall, Wharf Road, Wendover, Buckinghamshire, HP22 6HF

Complete your distance in any combination of loops on foot following route descriptions, which will need to be downloaded & printed off in advance. There are 10, 8 6 & 4.5 mile routes, as well as a wheelchair friendly interest walk, following field paths, tracks, woods & streams through undulating countryside with good views of the Chilterns from certain vantage points

General Notes
On-line Entries ONLY are Open from 1st March at www.sientries.co.uk Priority entry is open to LDWA members only until the end of 31st March. You will need to provide your LDWA membership number during the entry process. Entry will open for all at 12 noon on 1st April. Entries will be acknowledged by email. If acknowledgement has not been received by email within one week, please email Mike. Entries close on 29th May 2024. A 2 pound administration fee will be charged on cancellations advised before13th May 2024. After this date no refunds will be given. We advise you to wear suitable footwear & clothing, also to have maps Landranger 165 or Explorer 181, waterproofs, your own DRINKING MUG & a compass with your printed route descriptions. Route descriptions & GPX files will be available to download on the BBN website from 27th May 2023. There will be parking on the school grounds at the back of the Hall. Please follow directions from marshals. Wendover Rail Station is only 15 minutes walk away from the start. This event is part of a triple challenge with the Hannington Hike & The Chiltern Kanter. Full details of this event are available on the BBN LDWA website. Dogs Are allowed on the event, BUT NO DOGS are allowed inside any of the halls (EXCEPT ASSISTANCE DOGS). ALL MUST be on leads at all times & MUST have appropriate liability insurance .YOU MUST HAVE YOUR OWN DRINK MUG & EITHER YOUR PRINTED ROUTE DESCRIPTIONS & COMPASS OR DOWNLOADED GPX FILES & A NOTE OF THE EMERGENCY PHONE NUMBER. Cost
Entry: 10 pounds, non-LDWA 13 pounds, U18s free (mut be accompanied by an adult) (no OTD/non-transferable) entry fee includes drinks & food at HQ between loops & at the end. There will be NO support on any routes. Refreshments provided are prepared & served under uncontrolled conditions; although, naturally, all practical efforts will be taken to maintain food safety. However from a legal standpoint, entrants should independently determine the suitability of the refreshments that we provide. This event is not a race & there are no prizes. However, a certificate will be awarded to everyone who completes their chosen distance. Badges will be available on request while stocks last
