Sat 29th - Mon 31st May 2021

Walk Details:

Event Type
Challenge Event
Region / Area
Wales / Your Choice
Local Group
South Wales
Distance / Time Limit
100ml. 48 hours
Start Time
00.01 hrs (the event can be started at any time after 00.01 hrs)
Route
A route to be decided by you, the entrant. the grid reference detailed is, appropriately, the original start of the 'actual' (now cancelled) Hundred

We encourage you to think about using old LDWA 100s where the route descriptions can be found in the 100 archive. Alternatively, why not design a 100 mile walk from your home, or utilise 50 or 25 mile loops. The options are endless, but you should try to walk the route off-road and in line with the normal expectations of the annual 100 as well as the Covid-19 restrictions at the time

General Notes
This is a virtual event. You can select your own route, but it must be at least 100 miles. There is no minimum ascent requirement. You can start anytime you choose after midnight on Friday 28th May. For example, 00:01 hrs local time Saturday 29th May. You must finish by 23:59 hrs local time on Monday 31st May. You will need to complete your walk in 48 hours and not stop for more than 2 hours at any one time (just like a normal 100). This event is open to all LDWA members, no qualification is required and overseas members are encouraged to take part in this unique and, we very much hope, one-off event
