Roundhay 50 

Welcome to the 3rd Roundhay 50. A challenge event based at St Edmund's Church in Roundhay, North Leeds. This page gives a brief route description and details of the checkpoints. The event is basically the same as in 2023.

Entries via SIEntries (limit 220)

The route will consist of 2 loops.

• The first will head off South, through Roundhay Park, along the Wyke Beck to Temple Newsam, then along the Leeds Country Way through Garforth, Barwick-in-Elmet, Thorner, Bardsey and return to Roundhay via Wike.

• The second loop goes along Gledhow Valley to the Meanwood Valley, up past Eccup Reservoir, into Harewood Estate and then back to Roundhay.

Start 8.30am or 9.30am 

Check points are listed below with opening and closing times. Two main start times - 8.30am and 9.30am, but you are welcome to start at different times, provided that you fit in with the checkpoint timings.

Refreshments will be provided at all the checkpoints. There will be a mixture of savoury and sweet items. We will cater for vegetarians, and may have some vegan and gluten free options available but this cannot be guaranteed.

Minimum kit - to be worn or carried at all times: full waterproofs, hat, gloves, fleece top, long trousers, map with route on, route description, compass, whistle, mug, emergency food, torch
