West Dulwich to Ladywell and you don't have to be a Spurs fan! - this week's walking with London LDWA
London LDWA
Two lovely walks on offer this week. On Wednesday, Aysen leads an exploration of the leafier parts of South London, perfect for a balmy summer evening. Saturday sees a return to The Spurs Way, featuring the Lee Valley Walk and a special guest as co-leader. You don't have to be a Spurs fan to enjoy it, but if you are then you'll be pleased to know we pass the training ground at Hotspur Way, giving an opportunity briefly to breathe the same air as England captain Harry Kane and captain of France Hugo Lloris. Scroll down for full details.
Wanted - replacement leader
Owing to injury, Colin Saunders has had to step down as leader of the 17-mile Wandle Trail walk on Sunday September 16th, and is seeking a substitute. The walk is part of the Wandle Fortnight and will be an opportunity to recruit new members. Colin will provide info and make all the necessary arrangements, as well as act as a 'roving marshal' on the day. You can contact him at cswriter@btinternet.com .
