London LDWA

Welcome to the first addition of Barry's Blather the new iteration of the London LDWA weekly newsletter.  Many thanks to Julie Welch who has been editing the newsletter for the last few years and is a very difficult act to follow.    I have taken over the role as part of the co social secretary post I share.  Please bear with me as I get to grips with the HTML editor (photo orientation is on the top of my list). If you have been part of a social or challenge walk please do send your photos and any commentary into London@ldwa.org.uk  and they will be included into the newsletter

Recent LDWA London Group Walks

Wednesday 18th August

Adam Pode led an interesting walk from Vauxhall to Marble Arch which took in a lot of landmarks including the US Embassy, the Peace Pagoda, surreal architecture around Battersea Power Station and the much maligned Mound (which actually was quite nice).
