Welcome to Orcades Hostel in Kirkwall. A warm and friendly welcome awaits you at this modern, comfortable 4-star hostel which makes an excellent base for exploring the beautiful Orkney isles. The family who run the hostel have taken time and effort when renovating to create a “home from home� feel, so you can expect a high standard of comfort. Accommodation is in doubles, 4, 5 and 6 bedded rooms (mixed or single sex). All rooms have en-suite toilet/shower and all bedding is provided. There is a stylish kitchen fully equipped, including oils and spices for cooking. The lounge has a large freeview TV, DVD player, XBOX 360 and lots of games and books. There is free internet access in the lounge and wi-fi throughout the building. Drying facilities, bike storage and lockers are available. Outside is a large garden with ponds, picnic benches and a BBQ area. Stag and Hen groups are not welcome.
