Event Details Updated
Final reccie done today for next weeks “Old and New Come Together” social walk. The best place to park is down King St GR SE09716 25318 in the King Street Northern Car Park, opposite the cenotaph £2.50 all day Saturday, this carpark is a 5-minute walk past the Minster to the railway station. The walk includes woodland, river sides, moors, tracks, ginnels, snickets, a disused railway, a promenade and a famous Halifax folly. We aim to be back before dusk, but to be safe it will be wise to bring a torch. PS after todays reccie, and doing nothing for 6 weeks my legs are in bits, so please be gentle with your walk’s leader!
