An undulating track to Effingham and then a flatter track past ponds and numerous bridges across Bookham Common, we pick up the River Mole after Fetcham and head for the lunch stop, then via Ashcombe Wood to the Ranmore Common road and then a final hilly descent and return to the car park via White Down

General Notes
Undulating at moderate pace. A circular route of just over 20 miles but if anyone is too tired to do the tough final 4 mile section they can take an easy detour back to the start point. Bring picnic lunch
