Due to the cancellation of the walk scheduled for 23/11/24 I have decided to merge the two together, so we can really get into the Christmas spirit. PLEASE NOTE this walk starts from Halifax Railway Station HX11QE SE0974 2493 NOT Brighouse Station (I hope this don’t upset anyone’s plans) we will be having a stop around 6 miles, and then the lunch stop will be a festive affair with Mince Pies, Christmas Cake, Mulled Wine and Tea by the bucket full. The walk will finish in the Historic Halifax Piece Hall, where there are over 300 independent shops, restaurants and bars as well as the Christmas Market to look round and finish your day off. If you are coming by car the best place to park is the car park behind the Wool Merchant’s Hotel on King St HX1 1SR SE0970 2531 the cost is £2.00 all day, walk past Halifax Minster to get to the station meeting place. I hope to see you all there in Christmas attire!
