Ash Vale Station. Some free weekend parking at the station. Parking side (may need to go under bridge & turn left) so any North Camp arrivals can get to Ash Vale. RAIL STRIKE DAY, so restricted service - check closer to the time. Services likely to be affected/cancelled are those arriving at Ash Vale at: 08:44 (from Waterloo at 08:00); 08:56 (from Reading at 08:06); and 08:40 (from Guildford at 08:14)

Same route as the night walk scheduled for 1/2 Sept. South across North Surrey sandstone - chalk - sandstone ridges & back, staying North of River Wey & Elstead. 2 night crossings of the A31 dual carriageway on the (chalk) Hogs Back, near Compton & Seale.
