Route
Ash Vale Station. Start at 22:25 from Ash Vale parking side (may need to go under bridge & turn left) so any North Camp arrivals can get to Ash Vale
South across North Surrey sandstone - chalk - sandstone ridges & back, staying North of River Wey & Elstead. 2 night crossings of the A31 dual carriageway on the (chalk) Hogs Back, near Compton & Seale.
General Notes
Full (Blue) Moon on 31 Aug. Undulating; moderate pace; bring head torch, food & drinks, etc.; no AV cafe so no cooked breakfast option after the walk. Those waiting for a train could use the Tesco Express 200 yards away which opens at 7AM (chilled food but no coffee machine)
