The purpose of this short circular walk is to attach our nameplate to a footbridge recently funded and rebuilt by the group. The 8 mile walk will start at 10am from Shamley Green GR TQ031438 - park in road and meet outside the shop/post office It will join the Surrey Tops route on its approach to the bridge (at TQ039396) where we plan to attach a bronze plaque commemorating the group’s involvement in its rebuild. Our return to Shamley Green will be via the disused Guildford to Horsham rail track and the Wey Pace - leisurely! Terrain- flat! South Path. Pub, byo or cafe lunch
