Eden Valley Walk

Kent

This walk is set in the Eden Valley, which for the most part is in the care of the National Trust. The walk was inaugurated by Kent County Council in 1991; a 15-mile route which links the Vanguard Way, where it passes to the west of Edenbridge, and both the Wealdway and Medway Valley Walk in Tonbridge. The walk enters the High Weald National Landscpe (formerly AONB) and passes through parkland, woodland and open fields. The route is also rich in historical architecture with Penshurst Place, both Hever and Tonbridge castles, and many historic churches.

The three walk leaflets from Visit Edenbridge take in most of the Eden Valley Walk with the first leaflet describing a circular walk from Edenbridge that can be used to reach the official starting point of Cernes Farm. The guidebook from Kent Ramblers suggests link routes fto Cernes Farm rom Lingfield Station (2.5 miles), Marsh Green (1.2 miles), Edenbridge (2 miles) and Hever Station To Marsh Green (1.7 miles).
