Route is 21 miles, with 2700’ ascent, over the eastern tops of the Mallerstang valley, a high level walk with superb 360 views in good weather. Dropping down to the B6270 then a few kms east towards Keld before joining the Coast to Coast over 9 Standards Rigg and back to Kirkby Stephen railway station for car or train. Aim to catch 17:15 train back to Garsdale
