Based in Wooler. There is a lot to read about the weekend - but please do so to make life easier for the organisers. Thank you. Please book your own accommodation. YH may be full now ! Black Bull pub available. Also there is a huge riverside caravan park offering 4 births for the weekend

Saturday 26 September walk - led by Paul Ashman. Lindisfarne back to Wooler on St Cuthberts Away - approx 20 miles. Mini bus from Wooler to Lindisfarne on Saturday morning - time TBC.
Sunday 27 September walk - led by Paul Nellist. Iron Age Hillforts based walk - Yeavering Bell etc from Wooler. Approx 10-12 miles. Return to Wooler around 2pm.
After the walk on the Sunday Northumbria Group have booked a room in the Ad Gefrin museum and distillery in Wooler for tea/coffee/ light refreshments. This is an excellent new building in central Wooler -to look around if anyone wishes

Once you have booked your accommodation and would like to attend this weekend away please can you contact Lesley in order that we can (1) reserve you a place on the minibus for the walk on the Saturday; (2) we are hopefully planning to go for a meal on the Saturday evening so if you would like to attend, again please contact Lesley; and (3) if you wish to attend the museum after the walk on the Sunday, again please confirm with Lesley
