This walk was based around Saltfleetby / Theddlethorpe National Nature Reserve. We set off with thunderstorms forecast for later in the day, heading towards the north ofthe reserve with good views out to sea. After a coffee break we swung in land before returning on to the reserve for the lunch break. As we started again the sky went very dark and we could hear the sound of thunder. However, we finished the 19 mile walk managing to avoid the heavy rain, although there were many signs that it was raining very heavy nearby - we were just lucky.
