Dave Milne Way Group Walk

15 of us gathered at Ludford village hall to do the Dave Milne Way with Tony leading . We had some rain for the first leg over to Tealby but the weather then faired up and things got better as the day progressed.

We had our morning stop in Willingham Woods then pressed on to Otby then Walesby where we had our lunch time stop at the Rambler's church with fine views of the Wolds and Lincoln cathedral .

The afternoon saw us cracking on back to Tealby to complete the first half of the figure of eight route then over to Stainton le Wold , Kirmond le Mire , past fishing ponds at Thorpe le Vale and returning to Ludford past the old village stocks.

Tony handed round some lovely cakes when we got back to the cars at the village hall in Ludford , he said he'd baked them all himself but we rather suspect they were made by Barbara .

Thanks again to Lorna  for the photographs , to Chris for getting badges and certificates from Mike Surr for those who wanted them , to Tony for a great walk and to Barbra for the cakes .
