The walk took place in very hot weather and further south in the County than most of our recent walks. The walk party consisted of 9 walkers and we offer a special welcome to those walking with us for the first time. The walk started from the very picturesque village of Folkingham and passed through several more villages before stopping for lunch and a very welcome drink at The Green Man in Ropsley. On getting back to the car the temperature was recorded at 31 degrees centigrade, definitely warm enough for 18.5 mile walk. Very enjoyable despite the heat and a big thanks to Dave for leading the walk and thanks also to Lorna for the photos.
